Kid Cudi posted a video to Twitter on October 26, teasing III, which those of us who’ve spent the past ten years waiting know refers to Man on the Moon III. Cudi released his groundbreaking concept album debut, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, in September 2009, before following up with Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager in November 2010. Cudi didn’t follow through on Man on the Moon III for nearly a decade, despite releasing the album Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon, meant to set up the Man on the Moon III storyline, in February 2014.

The first two Man On The Moon albums is arguably Kid Cudi’s best work. It seems like the rapper is keen to visit the astronomical body once again(metaphorically speaking).
Cudi got fans all hyped up for a potential third Man On The Moon installment after dopping a new teaser video on YouTube.

Titled ’The Trilogy Continues,’ the video features a short montage of past Cudi eras before it transitions to a brief of the rapper stepping out of a car to look at the full moon.
This big tease is pretty perfect in terms of timing. Not only is it nearly ten years to the day Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager was released, Cudi’s big tease came at almost the same time as NASA’s announcement that water was found on the moon.
